Why are children expected to wear close-toe sandals?

Our outdoors play area is partially covered with mulch and partially covered with asphalt.

Both of these surfaces are not toe firendly for different reasons.

Thus, in the summer time, students are asked to come to school with closed toe sandals.

"At The Winchester School, we found a new home for our daughter; from day one of summer camp, she loved her new school! We could not be happier to have found this great school so close to our home! Thank you Winchester School!"

"You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation."
